Project Manager - Sioux Falls           

Reports To:  Operations Manager            

Pay Grade:  Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of building projects. You will be responsible for engaging with prospective clients, pursuing new business opportunities with pre-engineered buildings industrial & manufacturing, and expanding existing client relationships, estimating project costs, creating schedules, and managing contracted projects effectively.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively engage with prospective clients, understand their needs, and present suitable construction solutions or services

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate project estimates, budgets, and timelines

  • Negotiate and finalize sales contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company

  • Collaborate with internal and external resources for pricing, material availability and costs

  • Identify and plan project needs to get an estimate, working with clients, contractors, resources

  • Create/set up project details and a budget for each building project

  • Report projected project costs for billing purposes to the main office

  • Manage staff, accounts, materials, logistics, contracts, and timeline of the project

  • Attend meetings associated with projects, operations, contractors and administration

  • Manage change orders and project documentation

  • Provide timelines and specific details for staff scheduling

  • Conduct job site visits

  • Complete documentation to closeout a project

  • Acquire required permits and authorizations for projects

  • Follow company policies and standards

  • Report to management employee concerns or to share feedback

  • Continuously follow up with clients to maintain relationships, address concerns, and secure repeat business

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to communicate and develop good working relationships with staff, management, clients, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

  • All employees, current and former, must maintain confidentiality by not disclosing to others any confidential, proprietary or trade secret information belonging to Raeco Builders, LLC.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors and/or the Owner/CEO.

 EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in project management and/or business-related field – beneficial, but not required

  • At least 3 years of experience in estimating and/or project management in the construction/building field

  • Experience with pre-engineered metal buildings a plus, but not required

  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and other project documents

  • Excellent leadership, oral and written communication, and negotiation skills

  • Professional appearance

  • Current driver’s license with a good driving record

  • Know and follow local and state codes

  • Microsoft Office experience
